Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. The actress began her career in stage shows during the 1950s and began in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then she performed in a variety of Broadway shows before going famous in the national stage space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. She also released her first music album It's Time for Tina within the same year. Louise started with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre a dramatic film. The film was a massive hit and Louise earned the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's student. Her contract was signed with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise was able to do a fantastic task of switching between Broadway as well as Hollywood. She was portrayed as a dark different characters, which contrasted with the glamour doll image she was seen as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she's been making a impression as a director for numerous popular television shows like Supernatural or The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto at the age of 3 which is where she spent the rest of the majority of her childhood and teenage years. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She has lived there for the last ten years.
