Tessa Thompson
Tessa Lynn Thompson, an artist and performer who hails from Los Angeles was born in 1983. Thompson is the daughter of the singer and songwriter Marc Anthony Thompson and the daughter of the actor and musician Bobby Ramos. The majority of her childhood was spent in Los Angeles, before she relocated to Brooklyn. Thompson is Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian origin. Thompson studied at Santa Monica High School where she took part in a variety of theatre productions. Following her graduation, she began her studies in Santa Monica College, where she graduated with a certificate in the field of cultural anthropology. She starred as Juliet in the William Shakespeare play "Romeo and Juliet" during a performance held at the Boston Court Theatre in Pasadena, California. The show was nominated for an NAACP Theatre Award in the same season. Tessa made her debut on TV in 2005. She was on the show as on a CBS Series.
